Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the main oversight body for the GBPDC that ensures effective management of the Consortium so that all scientific objectives are met.

Primary Functions

  • Provide oversight to the GBPDC to ensure timely progress
  • Establish priorities for the Steering Committee as needed
  • Appoint Chairs of the subcommittees who serve on a rotating basis
  • Provide input on the agenda for the Steering Committee meetings and participate in management decisions needed between Steering Committee meetings, as required for the function of the Consortium.

The Steering Committee collaborates with the Executive Committee and NIDDK Program Staff to generate responses to any such questions and comments, as required.
